Yes — especially for after-sales support. You can walk in with any issue. You also get to hold the phone, check the screen and camera before buying, and get a GST bill with brand warranty on the spot. Online returns can be slow and complicated.

Yes. Every purchase at Tech Universe comes with a proper GST bill. This is important for warranty claims and for business buyers who need the invoice for tax purposes. Always keep a photo of your bill as backup.

No. A very low price can mean old stock, no bill or no warranty. Always compare the same model, same RAM and storage. Check what is included — cover, screen guard, charger. The best deal has a fair final price, valid GST bill, full warranty and real after-sales support.

Branded phones have limited room on price. But you can ask for free extras — cover, screen guard or earphones. Check the online price first and ask about bank offers, exchange value or festival discounts. Being polite and ready to buy that day always helps.

Usually during festival sales (Dussehra, Diwali) and when new models launch — older models drop in price. Year-end and financial year-end are also good periods. Always compare the final price including bill, warranty and service.

You need your Aadhaar card and PAN card. Existing Bajaj Finserv EMI card holders need no extra documents. A bank statement or salary slip may be needed for some partners. Approval typically takes under 10 minutes in-store.

Always ask for the total payable amount — not just the monthly figure. Check the down payment, tenure, interest rate and processing fee (usually ₹199–₹499). Pay EMI on time to protect your CIBIL score.

Buying Guide

Five simple rules: (1) Set a clear budget. (2) Decide what matters most — camera, battery or gaming. (3) Check how many years of software updates the phone gets. (4) Buy from a trusted shop with a GST bill. (5) Hold the phone before buying — feel the weight and check the screen in person.

Buy the latest only if you need the new features. Last year's model often gives almost the same experience at a noticeably lower price. New models cost more at launch — older models drop in price within months. Check how many update years are left before deciding.

At minimum: a screen guard and a back cover. Apply the screen guard at the time of purchase. Get a good quality charger and cable. Avoid very cheap chargers — they can damage the battery. A power bank is useful if you are a heavy user.

Check the IMEI, screen, touch, cameras, speakers, charging port, battery health, Wi-Fi and SIM slots. Test every button. Ask for the original bill and box. Make sure the phone is not locked to someone's Google or Apple account. Get a receipt with the seller's details.

The one that fits your budget, use case and nearby service centre. Samsung and Apple are known for long software support. Redmi and Realme offer the best value for tight budgets. Vivo and OPPO are popular for cameras and selfies. OnePlus and iQOO are preferred for speed and gaming. Visit Tech Universe to compare all brands in one place.
Phone Specs

4 GB — minimum for basic use (calls, WhatsApp, YouTube).
6–8 GB — suits most people including moderate gamers.
12 GB+ — for heavy gaming and heavy multitasking.

iPhones run well with less RAM because of software optimisation. The processor matters as much as RAM.

For all-round photography and video — iPhone and Samsung Galaxy. For portraits and selfies — Vivo and OPPO. For budget cameras — Redmi and Realme offer solid value. Visit Tech Universe to compare real photos taken on current models before you decide.

iQOO and OnePlus are well known for gaming performance. Look for Snapdragon 7 or 8 series (or Dimensity equivalent), 8 GB+ RAM, a 90–120 Hz screen and good thermal management. Fast charging also helps for long gaming sessions.

Capacity decides how long it lasts — fast charging decides how quickly you refill. Most people do best with 5000–6000 mAh and 33W or more fast charging. Modern phones manage fast charging well and it does not significantly harm battery health.

Usually yes. AMOLED and OLED screens have deeper blacks, better contrast and more vivid colours — great for video and gaming. LCD screens can be easier to read in bright sunlight and are used in cheaper phones. For most buyers, AMOLED is the better choice if the budget allows.

Very important. A good processor makes the phone fast, smooth and future-proof — and helps it handle software updates longer. For calls, social media and videos, a mid-range chip is perfectly fine. Do not overspend on a flagship chip if your daily use is light.
Warranty & Exchange

Usually no. The GST bill is the proof of purchase for warranty claims. Always keep the bill safe and take a photo as backup. Also keep the box with the IMEI number printed on it. All phones sold at Tech Universe come with a proper GST bill.

Brand warranty typically covers manufacturing defects for 1 year on handsets. It does not cover water damage, physical damage, dropped screens or accessories. Know the nearest brand service centre for your phone. Tech Universe helps coordinate warranty claims.

Yes. Bring your old phone for a fair on-the-spot evaluation and get an instant discount on your new purchase. To get the best exchange value — bring the original box, bill and charger. The phone should be in working condition. Screen damage reduces the value significantly. Factory reset and sign out of your accounts before handing it over.

1. Settings → Google Account or iCloud → turn on backup.
2. WhatsApp → Settings → Chats → Chat Backup → Back Up Now.
3. Note your important app logins and passwords.
4. Use the new phone's setup wizard to restore from backup.
5. Check everything works before wiping the old phone.

A clean, working phone with its original box, bill and charger always gets a higher offer. Compare two or three offers before selling. Factory reset and remove all accounts first. Get a written receipt from the buyer. WhatsApp us your model for a quick estimate.
